Each summer, thousands of professionals from across the mining industry converge in Elko, Nevada, for the Elko Mining Expo. As one of the oldest and most respected events of its kind in the United States, the expo features over 350 exhibitors and offers a premier platform for networking, professional development, and exploring the latest industry innovations.
Exhibitor Registration & Key Dates
- Legacy Exhibitors (2025 Participants) Registration concluded March 4, 2026
- New Exhibitors: New exhibitor registration begins in late March 2026 and those on the waitlist are being contacted.
- Golf Tournament & Opening Reception: Tickets go on sale April 14, 2026, at 8:00 AM PST.
- Golf registration: Open for registered exhibitors on April 14, 2026 with non-exhibitors able to register on April 15, 2026 provided space is available (forms are above)
- Opening Reception tickets: SOLD OUT
- Attendee registration: Registration will be complimentary for the 2026 event, and we encourage all industry professionals to register. We look forward to seeing you in June!

ELKO MINING HISTORY
Elko mining was gaining traction amongst would-be fortune seekers years before the town was even founded. In the late 1860s, mines cropped up everywhere across the region as miners sought out the gold and silver tucked away in the dusty Nevada hills. Miners from around the world flocked to places such as Elko, Cortez, Eureka and all along the Carlin Trend in hopes of striking it rich. Some did, others didn’t, but the draw remains as strong as ever today.
Since then, gold and silver mining has expanded to become a full-fledged industry, with names such as Nevada Gold and Kinross pulling millions of ounces of gold from local deposits and loading them onto some of the world’s largest haul trucks. The annual Elko Mining Expo serves as a living testament to the perennial allure of gold, silver and other minerals found in and around Elko.

ELKO MINING EXPO
Since 1986, the Elko Mining Expo has featured networking events, industry exhibits and informational sessions covering various aspects of mining, offering a unique opportunity for those working or interested in the mining industry.
The event was postponed in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but returned in person starting in 2021. The ECVA is committed to presenting a safe, compliant event which will ensure the continued good health and well-being for exhibitors, personnel, attendees and the Elko Community.
