Camp fee is $12/ night single-family site, $22/night double family site, $5 for extra vehicle. Parking fee is $4 a day/vehicle. Portable water, vault toilets, on site hosts, advanced reservations for campground sites. Contains 26 paved camping sites and 9 paved picnic areas.

WARNING - Trailers not advised to travel to Angel Lake due to steep grade last four miles.

South Fork State Recreation Area

Directions: From Elko go South on State Route 227 - 7 miles - Turn, 5.5 miles south on State Route 228 and 3.5 miles SW on Lower South Fork Road.

Camp fees $9/night, $11/night family w/boat. Portable water, comfort station, campsite tables, flush restroom with showers, RV dump station. Boat ramp.


South Ruby Campground

Location: 75 miles South of Wells on County Road 788

Near Ruby Lake Wildlife Refuge. Camp fees $12/night, $5/extra vehicle. Contains 35 gravel sites, most sites have tent pads. Portable water, vault toilets, fish cleaning and RV sanitary station ($5 fee charged for use of sanitary station) Advanced reservation for campground sites. Open late may through October with one loop open year round.

Location: In Lamoille Canyon, 25 miles from Elko on Forest Road 660.

Camp fees $12/night single family site, $5 for extra vehicle, $18/double family site. Contains 40 paved camping sites. 30 sites have tent pads (5 double sites, 4 pull through) Portable water, vault toilets, on site hosts, advanced reservations for campground sites.

Location: 67 miles N of Elko on Mountain City HWY 225.

Camp fees $5/night per vehicle. Open year-round, a favorite ice fishing destination. 33 campsites open May through October. Vault toilets, hand pump water, gravel roads. Picnic area, boat launch, showers, trails and swimming area. Camping, hunting, fishing and mountain biking. Elevation 6,200 feet.

Directions: North on State Road 225 to State Road 226 intersection. Turn west and drive 70 miles, the last 16 miles on gravel road.

Open year-round, a favorite for ice fishing. 15 campsites Accessible late April through October. Tables, grills, fire rings, vault toilets, dump station, hand pump water. Boat ramp fee $2/visit.

Open camping on north and south shores only. Tables, grills, vault toilets in day use area. No drinking water, $2.00/visit. Elevation 5,600 feet.
