Every year the ECVA hosts the Festival of Trees to raise money for the local community. The Festival of Trees has become a way for many to kick-off the Holiday Season.

The money raised by the sale of Christmas trees, holiday wreaths, stockings and more is split among local charities that are chosen by the ECVA Board of Directors.

The ECVA requests the donations of the holiday items for the silent auction from the citizens of Elko County as well as local businesses. Trees, wreaths, stockings and many various items are donated each year. The items are auctioned off each year during this great event. The event’s success is dependent on the community’s support to come in and bid on the fantastic holiday items in the auction.

Every year we choose a theme for the Annual Festival of Trees. We put together a variety of showcases to help put Elko citizens in the Holiday mood. The ECVA provides the facility and labor for the festival at no charge to the community and there is no entrance fees charged. Donations to the ECVA during the Festival of Trees are welcome to help recover any costs associated with the event.
